What to expect

First you will be sent some intake information to complete electronically. Then you will come in for an initial appointment. Together we will develop an understanding about the problem and make some goals. The key part of the first appointment is building a trusting and therapeutic relationship and feeling comfortable in the space.

In subsequent sessions we will work together to plan appropriate therapy which will involve some tools and strategies as well as providing a space to feel supported and validated which can always be revised as we get further into the process. Number of sessions will vary depending on intensity of symptoms and clients individual goals.

The Counselling Room
